Business Development

Ada's health and vitality as a community is dependent not only on the health of her neighborhoods, but also on the health of her business community.  As a business owner, I know how challenging it can be to compete and grow in today's highly competitive environment.

I believe the Township should take an active role in promoting Ada as a business destination, for both residents and visitors.  We should continue to find ways to stimulate and support the growth or our business community, helping them not only survive, but thrive!

A critical part of the future success of business in Ada, is the realization of the vision for the Ada Village area, outlined in the Ada Village Charrette.  We can not afford to let this vision fade.  We must act decisively, with a strategic plan that is endorsed by the business community, Township and key stakeholders and holds responsible parties accountable for getting development projects completed on schedule!

Another easy and positive step everyone can take to help our local business community is to always try and buy "Local First."  Need some paint or a new lawnmower?  Visit your friendly local hardware store.  Need a perfect gift for your spouse, friend or business associate?  Ada has many fine and unique gift and artisan shops to choose from.
